Job description

Position Description:
As Payroll Assistant you will assist in the weekly payroll process:
  • Onboarding new hires and process required paperwork, including I-9 documents and E-Verify
  • Processing timesheets (hourly and salaried)
  • Calculating vacations, garnishments, levies, and insurance deductions
  • Calculating and filing weekly and monthly withholding taxes
  • Processing terminations

You must have strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and multitasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • Good math and communication skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment (scanner, copier, adding machine)
  • Schedule Requirements: Monday-Friday 8-5 PM
  • Compensation is $15-$20 depending on experience
  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
