Director of Decision Support / Cost Accounting Highlights • Schedule: Full Time | 80 hours bi-weekly • Shift: Days • Location: Dover, DE • Position Type: Direct Hire / Permanent • Onsite role – must be local or willing to relocate to the Dover, DE area Director of Decision Support / Cost Accounting Responsibilities Manage the Cost Accounting system used for service line profitability analysis and financial performance reporting Oversee productivity systems and reporting for external agencies including S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA, and other regulatory/financial reporting entities Publish monthly service line Profit & Loss statements, physician practice P&Ls, and scorecard Develop financial feasibility studies and reimbursement models using STRATA software Calculate and analyze ROI, NPV, IRR, payback periods, and other financial metrics for capital project evaluation Partner with leadership to review service line profitability and develop improvement plans for unfavorable budget variances Complete annual surveys, insurance renewals, FEMA/Single Audit reporting, GME reporting, and support audit requirement Train leaders and managers on productivity and financial reporting systems Manage ad hoc reporting requests and strategic financial analysis projects Mentor the Supervisor of Decision Support and Special Projects Analyst Support software implementations including ERP systems, leasing software, and STRATA forecasting modules Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of role Director of Decision Support / Cost Accounting Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support required Healthcare finance experience required Experience with STRATA financial software or similar decision support tools require Strong background in financial modeling, cost accounting, and reimbursement analysis Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred Financial and/or healthcare certifications preferred Experience with hospital reimbursement, healthcare contracting, bundled payments, and physician reimbursement preferred If you think this Director of Decision Support / Cost Accounting position is a good fit for you, please reach out to Lindsay at 5867107959 or LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com
