Job description

Summary: As a Localization Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of localization projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and effective communication among cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing resources, compliance, and supporting stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and schedules. Coordinate with internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Schedule or facilitate project meetings.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Serve as the primary technical communication link with various suppliers and tool shops.
  • Plan and implement plant wide projects per management and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for assigned projects.
  • Provide status reports on project milestones and recovery plans as required.
  • Assign duties or responsibilities across the project team.
  • Assist in quality assurance efforts by reviewing project deliverables, verifying accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements. Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback.
  • Manage and participate in CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) and LEAN projects as required.
  • Use of the following software programs when performing duties of this position: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, SAP, packages, Project Management Software (Smartsheet)
  • Support the Team with Compliance data (USMCA, Country of origin, Made in Amerika)
  • Maintain supplier capacity overview and forecast. International and domestic.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Recommended Education and/or Experience:

-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

-Preferred Degrees: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or another related fields.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across different functional areas and geographic locations.

-Knowledge of LEAN principles is a plus.
