Job Summary:
HCLTech is a global technology company focused on delivering industry-leading capabilities in digital, engineering, cloud, and AI. The Test Engineer will be responsible for leading api/webservices testing efforts, developing test strategies, and collaborating with developers to ensure optimal functionality of the Workday platform.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the api/webservices testing efforts within the project team
• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for api/webservices
• Automate test cases using selenium and other relevant tools
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of code and applications
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in api/webservices functionality
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong experience in api/webservices testing methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in automation testing using selenium
• In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing processes
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with tools like postman, soapui, jmeter for api testing
• Experience with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems
