Our dedicated team works collaboratively to provide professional, patient-centered care that changes lives. If you're passionate about making a difference in reproductive health, we invite you to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate Embryologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of andrology and embryology procedures essential to successful IVF treatments. This role requires both technical expertise and strong organizational skills to manage patient cycles, laboratory documentation, and daily lab operations.

What You'll Do

You'll be hands-on from day one, contributing to all aspects of our IVF laboratory operations.

  • Identify and move oocytes in follicular fluid using a dissecting microscope.
  • Load embryos into a catheter, assisting the physician with handling and positioning as needed.
  • Conduct daily assessments of patient embryos using an inverted microscope.
  • Perform oocyte microinjection with micromanipulators and pipettes.
  • Use medical-grade laser technology to perform zona ablation on oocytes and embryos.
  • Carefully remove cells from embryos using laser technology and micromanipulators, transferring biopsied cells with sterile technique.
  • Execute freezing and thawing processes for surplus oocytes and embryos.
  • Label and prepare culture dishes with sterile technique for next-day procedures.
  • Stock supplies, perform quality control tests, maintain lab equipment, and monitor liquid nitrogen storage.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled embryologist who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with Technical Supervisor (ABB) certification, or a Master's degree in Biological Sciences.
  • Florida Medical Technology licensure/certificate required. All applicants must satisfy the requirements for High Complexity Testing under CLIA Amendments, 42 C.F.R. §493.1489, as adopted by the Florida Department of Health.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team-based environment.
Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with participation in a weekend and holiday rotation. Day shifts; on-site at the NewLIFE IVF Laboratory in Pensacola, FL.
