Job description

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking an Embryology Lab Manager to join our growing team in Lake Mary, Florida.

The Embryology Laboratory Manager supervises daily clinical embryology procedures and maintains RMAโ€™s Lab Philosophy, Mission, and Performance Standards. The Embryology Lab Manager is also responsible for the implementation of quality assurance/control programs, regulatory compliance, and staff training. This is a responsible position that must demonstrate excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to optimize lab resources and maximize patient results.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

โ€ขPerforms daily IVF lab services

โ€ขImplements RMA lab policies and quality assurance program

โ€ขAnalyzes and monitors lab key performance indicators

โ€ขOrganizes lab schedule

โ€ขEnsures all lab procedures are completed and documented

โ€ข Helps maintain regulatory requirements


Supervisor Responsibilities:

โ€ขEnsure that team members have the necessary training for proper performance and development.

โ€ขMaintain organization of team membersโ€™ timesheets, PTO, etc. to ensure that tasks are properly carried out.

โ€ขTransmit the Companyโ€™s policies (health and safety, labor legislation, training, etc.) to ensure compliance.


Academic Training:

โ€ขBachelor of Science โ€“ Biological science

โ€ข TS (ABB) certification - Required

โ€ข 5-7 years of experience - preferred


Technical Skills:

โ€ขPerform and understand clinical embryology principles and techniques

โ€ขPerform and understand principles and techniques of Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

โ€ขElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

โ€ขMicrosoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
