You'll have the opportunity to work directly with business owners and executive teams to strengthen financial foundations, support growth, and drive operational clarity.This is a standout opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys variety in their work, values flexibility, and wants to make a meaningful impact across multiple organizations, without the burden of building a solo consulting practice.Warren Whitney offers the best of both worlds: the autonomy to shape your own client portfolio with the support, infrastructure, and benefits of an established firm.OVERVIEWAs a Controller, you will serve clients in fractional, interim, and project-based roles, providing leadership in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. The Controller is a full-time role, eligible for benefits.You'll work closely with client leadership to:Improve financial systems and reportingOversee monthly close processes and internal controlsMentor accounting staff membersSupport strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial dataManage projects, forecasting, and analysis to support business growth and transitions.Prepare for audits and assist with external reportingEnsure compliance with financial regulations and best practicesQUALIFICATIONSAccounting and/or Finance education and credentials, along with a mixture of public accounting experience as well as industry experience.
