Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our repair shop team. You will inspect, maintain, and repair customer vehicles to keep them running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, works well with computerized test equipment, and takes pride in doing high-quality work.

Core Responsibilities

  • Diagnose Problems: Use diagnostic scanners, test tools, and test drives to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
  • Perform Repairs: Fix, replace, and overhaul vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake pad replacements.
  • Quality & Safety: Follow safety protocols, inspect repairs to ensure they meet quality standards, and keep the shop clean.
  • Documentation: Write clear descriptions of problems found, parts needed, and repairs completed on digital work orders.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic or technician.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Tools: Ownership of standard automotive technician tools is preferred.
  • Certifications: ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods.
