Position Overview

State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join the winning team as an Agent Team Member. The role focuses on helping business grow through value‑based conversations and remarkable customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, accurate, friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarity.
  • Use a customer‑focused, needs‑based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Qualifications
  • Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening.
  • Enthusiastic about insurance and financial products’ role in helping people manage risks.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Ability to achieve mutually agreed marketing goals.
  • Experience in marketing.
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
  • Property and Casualty license (must currently hold).
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
Licensing

Licenses required: Property and Casualty (current or ability to obtain) and Life and Health (ability to obtain).

Employment Status

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees are hired by the agent and are not employees of State Farm.
