job title: Radiological Laundry Technician

TECHNICIAN needed in a "Potentially Hazardous" laundry facility in North Richland at the FRAMATOME Fuel facility. This is a steady 40 hour a week job and has overtime pay for work exceeding 40 hours which is very common.
New Hires will begin receiving pay for Holidays after 6 months and will begin accruing vacation after 12 months of service.
NOTE: The EMPLOYER is RAD Services LLC and is a Contractor at FRAMATOME Fuels, THUS, this is not a job offering with Framatome Fuels. Pay is BI-WEEKLY and there is also room for other opportunities within RAD Services as our firm is encountering growth.
REQUIREMENTS: 1) You must pass a Pre Employment drug screening which includes "MARIJUANA"
2) You must be 18 years old and possess your own transportation, facility is not on a bus route
3) You must be able to lift 35-pounds of bagged clothing numerous times during the day
4) You will be required to be medically fit tested to wear a mask for safety and also work in a potentially radioactive environment
5) NOTE: this job is not for everyone, to say that you must have a rugged outlook on life is an understatement
6) You MUST read and write in ENGLISH proficiently in order to pass the training & exams in order to obtain a badge for entry
7) After training completion, you will be evaluated when you have worked for 90 days and additional $1.00 will be added to wage
8) After a 6 month stay with RAD Services you may be eligible for an additional $1.00 raise depending on performance

Company Description

A small company of 12 people or less. I have 5to 7 employees that have been with me in excess of 7 years because we do not suffer from a lack of work. We are located in N. Richland, it is a badged facility and there will be seven days of class room training and orientation. Steady-Steady-Steady is our work. Hours of the available position are 6:30 AM PM to 3:00 PM Monday to Friday, Saturdays and Sundays are generally overtime pay days which is rotated between the staff. 10 or more Paid Holidays per year. RAD Services has a long history with the Framatome Fuels Laundry facility. We as well run a full time Janitorial operation and employees can choose to move from one to another when an opening arises.
