Pay: $28.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Join a Growing Fleet Maintenance Team

L.A. Fleet Care is a family-owned fleet maintenance and diesel repair company providing both mobile and in-shop services throughout Southern California. We are seeking experienced Diesel Technicians and Senior Diesel Technicians to join our growing team.
Whether you're an experienced diagnostic technician or a skilled mechanic looking for career growth, we offer stable work, competitive pay, modern diagnostic equipment, and opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance services on heavy-duty trucks and commercial fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Perform DOT and BIT inspections.
  • Service brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and aftertreatment systems.
  • Diagnose and repair DPF, DEF, and SCR systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic software such as Cummins INSITE, JPRO, IDSS, or equivalent systems.
  • Perform mobile service and roadside repairs as needed.
  • Complete major repairs including engines, transmissions, and complex electrical diagnostics (Senior Level).
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and service reports.
  • Mentor junior technicians and support shop operations (Senior Level).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications
Diesel Technician:
  • 3+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience preferred.
  • Experience performing PM services and mechanical repairs.
  • Basic to intermediate electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Familiarity with aftertreatment systems.
  • Ability to work independently and produce quality repairs.
Senior Diesel Technician:
  • 6+ years of heavy-duty diesel diagnostic and repair experience preferred.
  • Advanced electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
  • Experience performing major engine and drivetrain repairs.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor technicians.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial truck systems and fleet maintenance operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CDL Class A (preferred but not required).
  • OEM or factory training/certifications.
  • Clean Truck Check certification.
  • Experience with Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, International, Isuzu, Ford, or similar truck brands.
  • Welding experience.
  • Hydraulics and liftgate repair experience.
