The KAM will be responsible for leading the account management responsibilities associated with retailers in the convenience channel focused on our Soft Drink and Non-Carb business. Overall duties include annual planning, quarterly business reviews reporting and trade management and account administration. This role will also require strong project/time management skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple priorities and objectives aimed at meeting the customer assigned annual growth targets. This position will be in the Salt Lake City, UT market with responsibilities that extend into the other 12 states we do business in.Job Description

Primary Location:

Salt Lake City, Utah

This role calls on the following customers: Small Format KAM Admiral Beverage.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities include:

  • Deliver annual customer volume, net revenue and profit goals
  • Ability to create a selling platform by utilizing internal and external data to develop a comprehensive selling story
  • Lead & coordinate customer meetings, construct and present LRB category trends and insights
  • Manage all promotions & programming, partnering with all bottlers and marketing team
  • Lead planning internally to ensure appropriate trade, volume & profit deliverables are met
  • Manage and communicate account financials
  • Leverage Excel modeling to assess financials, valuation, and alternate scenarios
  • Forecasting accuracy for monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
  • Monthly pricing surveys in trade accounts
  • Able to compute ROI event analysis on promotional events
  • Time spent in trade monthly doing store audits, pricing surveys and ensuring promotional elements are being executed
  • Periodically assist GM's, SM's, ABM's and frontline sales representatives on trade tours

Manage business reporting and tracking tools:

  • Proficient with iDig reporting tools
  • Updating weekly/monthly/quarterly Retail Promotional Priorities (Game Day Sheets)
  • Monthly Business Review/Quarterly Business Planning with retailers
  • Authorized Product Lists
  • Analyze IRI & shipment data to deliver results
  • Customer management processes (new items, contracts, etc.):
  • Developing and negotiating annual CDA agreements
  • Populating and submission of New Item Forms (NIF)
  • Item UPC/Weight updates, Price Changes, etc
  • Collaboration with functional areas including finance, strategy, marketing and sales locations
  • Leverage PowerPoint & Excel to create impactful, concise slides that communicate business results & recommendations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's (B.A) degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience or minimum of 5 years of sales & customer management; experience with consumer-packaged goods preferred
  • Consumer packaged goods experience
  • Retail and Category Management experience preferred
  • Solid command of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions
  • Focused leader with the ability to effectively achieve goals in a matrixed organization
  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of leading and influencing large multi-level teams
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation skills with and analytical mindset that can influence and articulate a business proposal via in person and/or email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time or as needed as the job requires.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
