What You'll Do

As our On-Call RN, you'll provide compassionate after-hours hospice care and be a reassuring presence for patients and families when they need support most.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to after-hours patient needs and changes in condition
  • Providing symptom and pain management
  • Performing nursing assessments and determining appropriate interventions
  • Making patient visits when clinically necessary
  • Educating and supporting patients and families
  • Coordinating care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team
  • Completing timely and accurate EMR documentation
  • Ensuring continuity of care throughout your on-call week
  • Maintaining compliance with Medicare, state, and hospice standards

What We're Looking For
  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Hospice, Home Health, Oncology, ICU, ER, or Med-Surg experience preferred
  • Hospice experience is preferred but not requiredwe're willing to train the right RN
  • Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Compassionate and confident communication style
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
