Job description

Job Title: Customer Support Engineer / IMS CORE – MEMPHIS, TN _ 100% onsite

Duration: 12 Months, Extendable 

Location: Memphis, TN

Candidates Must have and be able to discuss in detail during a technical interview.

• Hands-on experience in managing, operating, and supporting Nokia core network nodes (EPC/IMS/5GC) for both data and voice services.

• Solid experience in interfaces and protocols used in 4G and 5G core networks (integration/troubleshooting).

• Solid experience in Kubernetes and container environments for operating and managing Containerized Network Functions.

Candidate must have recent experience with the ability to complete the following requirements:

Core RE Requirements:

• Perform first level of troubleshooting/response for anomalies found in the above elements.

• Raise tickets with Nokia care for issues that he couldn’t solve.

• Support activities/migrations/upgrades on behalf of customer (those are normally carried out by nokia care).

• Prepare/review MOPs of activities.

• Participate in ORT/ATP.

• Provide incident reports and kpi reports (if this is covered in the sow for RE).

REQUIREMENTS (must have):

• Experience in 4G and 5G packet core operation and architecture, preferably Nokia solutions.

• Experience in SDM operation and architecture, preferably Nokia solutions.

• Knowledge of CNF operation and lifecycle management.

• O&M experience in mme, spgw, amf, smf, upf, nrf.

• O&M experience in pcrf, hss, pcf, udm, ausf, udr.

• O&M experience in cscf, TAS, sbc, mrf.

Plus (good to have):

• Experience in Nokia CMMand CMG nodes.

• Experience in Nokia APC (pcrf, hss, pcf, udm, ausf, udr).

• Experience in Nokia EVC.

• O&M experience in Nokia CMU platform (CNF mode of deployment) through cli and CMU GUI.UI.
