Crowned Grace International is seeking a Section 508 Compliance Specialist with over 5 years of experience in federal records management and/or FOIA/FACA, including a 2-year baseline of federal correspondence systems. The Section 508 Compliance Specialist ensures all deliverables and content meet Section 508/accessibility standards with 100% compliance, performing remediation and validation across documents, presentations, and web content.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and remediate documents, presentations, and web content for Section 508 conformance using automated checkers and manual testing.
  • Achieve 100% Section 508 compliance and re-work any errors at no additional cost to the Government.
  • Establish accessibility standards and checklists; advise the team and provide training as needed.
  • Support website updates and content alignment for accessibility.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Recommended 3-5 years in Section 508 / digital accessibility, inclusive of the 2-year Federal correspondence-systems baseline.

Required Skills & Knowledge
  • WCAG 2.x and Section 508 standards.
  • Accessibility tools (e.g., ANDI, automated checkers) and assistive-technology testing.
  • Document and web/SharePoint content remediation.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
  • DHS Trusted Tester certification.
  • Experience remediating Federal web or SharePoint content.

  • Must be able to pass government background investigation.
