Description:

WE ARE

The Chatham Inn, Cape Cod’s only Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, is a luxurious boutique hotel with 18 guest rooms that blends the soul of a historic inn with modern decor and amenities, along with Cuvee, our fine dining restaurant and wine bar. Named as one of the Top 20 Hotels for Best Service in the United States and Top 20 Most Romantic Hotels in the United States, Chatham Inn Relais & Châteaux has been rated the #1 Hotel in Chatham, #1 on Cape Cod, Top 50 Hotels in the United States, one of the Top 1% of all Hotels in the World, and one of only 340 Forbes Five-Star hotels in the world.

Cuvée Bistro at The Chatham Inn is evolving into a relaxed, approachable coastal bistro with Mediterranean and French influences. We are moving away from a traditional fine-dining model toward something more vibrant, welcoming, and community-driven — while maintaining the polish and standards expected of a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes-recognized property.

OUR CULTURE | Individual Distinction, Collective Soul

At Noble House Hotels & Resorts, our philosophy emphasizes "location, distinction, and soul." Our properties are not a "one-size-fits-all." And neither are our team members. We are a group of individuals that share a passion for hospitality. We let our personalities shine, and we like to have fun.

A day in the life...

The Host is the first and last impression of Cuvée Bistro. This role sets the tone for the entire guest experience — balancing warmth, confidence, organization, and grace. The ideal candidate understands that true luxury is about making guests feel recognized, welcomed, and cared for from the moment they arrive

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Welcome & First Impressions

  • Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage reservations with confidence and accuracy
  • Escort guests to tables while creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
  • Recognize returning guests and VIPs when possible
  • Provide clear communication regarding wait times and dining flow

Reservation & Floor Management

  • Manage OpenTable (or reservation platform) effectively
  • Balance indoor dining room, patio, and bar seating as one cohesive Cuvée experience
  • Coordinate closely with servers and leadership to maintain smooth pacing
  • Support strategic seating to enhance guest comfort and service efficiency

Guest Experience Oversight

  • Maintain visual awareness of the dining room to ensure energy and presentation remain aligned with brand standards
  • Assist with guest needs as they arise
  • Help maintain lobby and entrance cleanliness and presentation

Communication & Teamwork

  • Act as a central communication point between front door and dining room team
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
  • Support leadership with guest notes, special requests, and service recovery when needed

(Please note: We do not sponsor or employ individuals for this position who are employed under another location’s H-2B visa program. This role is not eligible as a second job for individuals currently employed under an H-2B visa elsewhere, as such employment would not be authorized under federal visa regulations.)

Requirements:

Who you are…

  • Naturally warm and polished without being formal
  • Organized and calm under pressure
  • Strong communicator with emotional intelligence
  • Detail-oriented and guest-focused
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Available for weekends and peak summer season

Experience in upscale dining or boutique hospitality preferred.

We’ve got you covered… At The Chatham Inn, we are proud to offer our team members the best perks and benefits.

  • State Health Insurance; Company Dental and Vision; 401K - Contribution and Matching
  • On Demand Pay- your pay before payday
  • Team Member/Family/Friend home and restaurant discounts within Noble House Hotels & Resorts (nationwide)
