Position Summary 

The Director, Integrated Solutions, is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive audiovisual and event technology solutions across multiple properties and high-profile client engagements. 

This role serves as a trusted partner to clients, hotel stakeholders, and internal leadership, translating vision into innovative, scalable, and revenue-generating solutions. The Director balances consultative sales, technical integration strategy, and operational alignment to ensure seamless execution across diverse environments. 

This position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding business beyond the existing partner portfolio, enhancing consistency across the portfolio, and elevating both the client and guest experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

Solution Strategy & Design 

  • Lead development of integrated AV and event technology solutions aligned with client objectives 

  • Translate client needs into scalable, technically sound, and integration-focused offerings 

  • Standardize solution frameworks, packages, and best practices across properties 

  • Partner with operations and production teams to ensure feasibility and execution alignment 

  • Support complex and high-profile event designs 

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth 

  • Partner with sales teams and hotel stakeholders to drive revenue performance 

  • Participate in client consultations, site visits, and pre-conference planning 

  • Identify opportunities for upselling, innovation, and enhanced event experiences 

  • Develop solution-driven proposals that clearly articulate scope, design, and value 

  • Support forecasting, pipeline visibility, and strategic revenue planning 

  • Drive new business development outside existing partner portfolio through relationship expansion and prospecting initiatives 

Client & Partner Engagement 

  • Serve as a senior-level resource for key clients, planners, and hotel partners 

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships that drive repeat business 

  • Present solutions with clarity, confidence, and a hospitality-first mindset 

  • Represent Five-Star in high-visibility client and property engagements 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Act as a bridge between sales, operations, and production teams 

  • Ensure seamless handoff from solution design through execution 

  • Partner with Directors and on-site teams to align expectations and service standards 

  • Support training and development related to solution strategy and offerings 

Innovation & Continuous Improvement 

  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and experiential design 

  • Introduce new solution offerings, packages, and service enhancements 

  • Evaluate performance metrics and client feedback to refine solution strategies 

  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives that elevate brand positioning and service delivery 

  • 5+ years of experience in audiovisual, event technology, hospitality solutions and leadership experience 
  • Proven success in consultative selling, solution design, or strategic client engagement 

  • Strong understanding of AV systems, event production, and technology integration 

  • Experience working with hotel partners, sales teams, and high-end clientele 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills 

  • Ability to balance creative strategy with operational feasibility 

  • Expectation written and verbal skills  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology sales or event management platforms 

  • AV certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or similar 

  • Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel  

Preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, business or related field 

  • Experience with D-Tools or similar AV design, quoting, or integration platforms  

  • ANP Certification
