Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Part-time
Up to $40 an hour with weekly pay!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities:
Participate in clinical program development and implementation
Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
CEU's per state licensure requirements
Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct patient care
