Quick Facts Location: Boston, MA (55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114) Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Day shift, 13 hours (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 days/week Hours/week: 39 Employment Type: Contract (W-2) License/Certs: MA state license; BC in Neurosurgery (required) Experience: 1+ year neuro experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $129.98 Benefits include: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Collaborate with residents to review patient plans and conduct rounds Manage inpatient neurosurgery cases, including patient assessments and planning Review patient needs, update orders, and coordinate discharge procedures Perform procedures such as drain removal if experienced (hemovac, JP drains) Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare team members Follow facility protocols and provide patient-centered care in a hospital setting Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and safety standards What You Need Required: Board Certified in Neurosurgery (BC) Massachusetts license to practice nursing Minimum 1 year experience in neuro patient care Ability to perform drain removals (preferred) Preferred: Experience working in inpatient neurosurgery units Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a prominent hospital in Boston dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient neurosurgical care.
