Refrigeration Technician

Lucrative DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a prominent and reliable manufacturing company in Oklahoma City! We're seeking career focused, experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians that are skilled at maintaining, operating, inspecting, and repairing various types of ammonia refrigeration equipment and components.

Position Highlights:

  • Quarterly Bonuses (can range from $10.00 hr. - $300.00)

  • Hourly wage: $28.00-$30.00 (will consider paying a little more with more years of experience)
  • 3rd Shift (work schedule 6 days on 2 days off)

Work Schedule:

(1) 3rd Shift 11:00 pm Until Finished (typically 10 hr. shift)

Must have previous experience:

  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, vessels, valves, and other machinery included in the ammonia refrigeration equipment.
  • Inspecting ammonia detection systems.
  • Refrigeration experience working with 18k pounds of Ammonia.
  • Replacing defective mechanical and manual valves.
  • Maintaining control of the water treatment system and associated chemicals.
  • Working in motor room, freezer, and blast cell areas (Freezer is -54*).
  • Filling out daily reports as directed by the Plant Engineer.
  • Performing oil and ammonia sampling for analysis on a regular basis.
  • Working directly with all refrigeration contractors, electricians, and pipe fitters when they are working on the ammonia refrigeration system to ensure that they are following all the company safety policies and meeting work standards.
