The Demo Breaker is responsible for providing support coverage for Demo Associates during breaks, lunches, high-volume periods, and departmental needs throughout the store. This role ensures all demo stations remain active, clean, engaging, and properly maintained while delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge to shoppers

Requirements:

Essential Job Functions:


• Provide break and lunch coverage for Demo Associates throughout the store.
• Maintain active customer engagement while offering samples and product information.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and promotions effectively.
• Set up, restock, and clean demo stations as needed.
• Ensure demo stations remain clean, organized, sanitary, and visually appealing.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different products, departments, and work areas.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and energetic attitude with customers and team members.
• Assist leadership with additional demo support during busy periods or special events.
• Properly use gloves, slicers, knives, and other equipment following safety guidelines.


Qualifications:


• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Non-slip shoes required for safety.
• Must follow all food and equipment safety procedures.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and kneeling
  • Comfortable working in hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Manual dexterity for handling knives, tools, and kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to work around steam, open flames, and cleaning agents
  • Clear vision and hearing to ensure safety and communication in a busy kitchen
  • Ability to climb a step stool or ladder when needed
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as scheduled
