Evie's Snacks

Houston, TX

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Job description

Location: Houston, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio, Texas
Start Date: Q4 2026
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Marketing Manager

About Evie’s Snacks

Evie’s is a fast-growing, better-for-you snack brand sourcing from our family-owned, regenerative pecan farms in South Texas. We’re reintroducing pecans to the modern consumer in a downright delectable way – with nostalgic flavors, premium sourcing, and a perfect crunch that keeps people coming back.

About the Role

As we expand our retail footprint, we’re looking for a highly organized, energetic, and resourceful Field Marketing Specialist to help bring the Evie’s brand to life in the real world.

This role will own the day-to-day execution of our field marketing efforts—from developing market-level strategies to coordinating events, demos, and sampling programs. You’ll be the person making sure Evie’s shows up in the right places, at the right times, and with an experience that turns first-time tasters into fans.

Responsibilities

Build & Execute Field Marketing Strategy

  • Help develop and execute Evie’s field marketing strategy across priority markets and retail partners.
  • Build market-level activation plans that support retail expansion, product launches, key accounts, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities for sampling, community events, partnerships, pop-ups, and other grassroots activations.
  • Work closely with sales to prioritize markets, retailers, and events based on business goals.
  • Develop repeatable field marketing playbooks that can scale as Evie’s enters new retailers and markets.
  • Track activation performance and use learnings to continually improve where, when, and how we show up.
  • Connect field activity to broader retail growth and sales priorities, helping the team understand which programs are driving meaningful results.

Event Coordination & Execution

  • Own coordination and execution for consumer events, retailer events, pop-ups, community activations, trade shows and brand partnerships.
  • Manage event logistics from start to finish, including registration, product, shipping, booth materials, signage, staffing, schedules, and on-site needs.
  • Attend and actively work the majority of Evie’s events and activations, serving as an on-site brand representative and ensuring strong execution from setup through breakdown - requires evening and weekend availability throughout the year dependent on the event calendar.
  • Maintain an organized field marketing and event calendar across markets.
  • Serve as the primary point person for event partners, vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure every activation feels polished, engaging, and consistent with the Evie’s brand.

Demo & Sampling Coordination

  • Own the coordination of Evie’s in-store demo and sampling program across retail partners.
  • Build and maintain demo calendars based on retailer priorities, store performance, launches, and key selling periods.
  • Coordinate demo staff, agencies, brand ambassadors, product inventory, sampling materials, and store-level logistics.
  • Develop clear training materials and talking points so ambassadors can confidently tell the Evie’s story and educate consumers on our products.
  • Manage and personally support demos where internal Evie’s brand presence is required or would provide the greatest impact, ensuring a high-quality consumer experience and strong brand representation.
  • Ensure demos are properly staffed, supplied, and executed according to retailer and brand standards.
  • Troubleshoot cancellations, inventory issues, staffing gaps, and other field challenges quickly.
  • Collect demo recaps, consumer feedback, photos, and sales results to evaluate performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve demo effectiveness and build a scalable sampling program as our retail footprint grows.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, events, retail marketing, CPG, or a related role.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing many moving pieces at once.
  • A strong operator who can take an idea and turn it into a well-executed activation.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership without needing a highly structured playbook.
  • Excited to spend time in stores and at events—not just behind a desk.
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively with retailers, agencies, brand ambassadors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Resourceful and calm when plans change or something inevitably goes sideways in the field.
  • Comfortable using data and field feedback to determine what is working and where to invest next.
  • Excited about food, consumer brands, retail, and creating memorable brand experiences.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly and work evenings or weekends for activations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in consumer brands, food & beverage, retail, or CPG brands is a plus
  • Existing knowledge of experiential agencies, event partners, or sampling programs is a plus
Compensation & Perks
  • Salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Paid time off
  • Employer-sponsored 401k plan
