Position: Scanning Specialist
Department: Health Information Management
Location: Glencoe, MN
Remote Work: No
Position Type: Full Time
Hours Per 2-week Pay Period: 80
Shift: Days
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm
Weekend Rotation: No
Holiday Rotation: No
Position Summary:
This position must have the ability to prep, scan and perform quality assurance checks for all clinic paperwork. They will utilize Excel for tracking of quality and productivity statistics.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service; along with the ability to work independently and at a moderately fast pace.
  • Must demonstrate positive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge with an understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Must be detail orientated, organized, possess the ability to analyze problems and take initiative with limited supervision.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
