Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a 3 rd Shift Quality Inspector in our Cleveland, OH (Twinsburg) facility. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday (1:00 AM - 8:00 AM Monday morning, 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Monday night - Friday morning). Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
  • Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to assess product properties
  • Interpret product specifications and tolerances on engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance
  • Conducts visual inspections to ensure products meet visual appearance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including any non-conformances or deviations from standards
  • Understands the SPC data collection system to ensure that the manufacturing processes are in control in producing high quality products
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams on root cause analysis, continuous improvement projects, and critical success factors
  • Provide flexible support to other areas of the plant as needed

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of measurement systems and tools
  • Ability to interpret quality drawings and sampling plans
  • Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Work overtime as required, including weekends
  • Ability to perform the essential functions as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 50 - 100 lbs (over 50 lbs with an assist).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience in a manufacturing quality or plastic extrusion environment
  • Good visual acuity
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle experience
  • Experience with InfinityQS ProFicient on Demand or other SPC software
  • Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
  • Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment
  • Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships
