Job Description

QUALITY INSPECTOR - 1st & 2nd SHIFT 

VANCE, ALABAMA -TUSCALOOSA PLANT 

As a member of the quality team, the quality team member will be responsible ensuring that seats are given a final inspection prior to shipment to the customer

The Role: 

Your work will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Assist with the execution of EOL/FAM testers, front and rear seat inspections, and blind audit 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of customer specifications and quality requirements

  • All non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected, or identified and segregated from conforming product

  • Achieve operator certification according to the plant certification process

  • Adhere to the standard work instructions (SWI's), forms, work instructions, and procedures

  • Participate in team meetings and understands performance goals and objectives

  • Assure safety and quality standards are followed at all times

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives

  • Performing all other duties assigned.
