Entry Level Quality Inspector

Company:

Boeing Distribution, Inc.

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Inspector to join our team in Foley, AL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts dimensional and visual inspections

  • Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements

  • Conduct visual Inspections for obvious defects.

  • Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received

  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Standards. Disposition and control on non-conforming products.

  • Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits. Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.

  • Assist with the on-hold process.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 0 - 1year of quality work experience related

  • Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
