Job description

Digger Specialties, Inc., a family-owned company, has been manufacturing vinyl and aluminum fencing and railing for the Building Products and Outdoor Living industry since 1984. Our Team of Employees continues to grow as DSI adds new plant locations. M 12:30 AM - 6:30 AM amp; M-TH 10:15 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Summary (varies by department):

  • Assemble parts in specified relationship to shop orders
  • Work at various work stations as production needs require
  • Package vinyl/aluminum gates and fence sections according to orders
  • Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment
  • Perform other routine duties as needed

Pay rate varies by department. Employees are eligible for a raise after 60 days and again after 6 months of employment pending performance reviews. Weekly Production Bonus eligibility begins after 90 days of employment ($50 minimum per week) for qualified positions (eligibility determined by performance amp; attendance).

  • All DSI employees receive a $15,000 Life Insurance policy after 60 days of employment paid for by the company.
  • After 3 years of employment, DSI pays for 90% of an employee's health insurance premium.
  • Employees can take out Dental amp;/or Vision insurance but decline medical coverage.
  • 401(k) plan available after 1 year of employment with DSI matching 25% of employee contributions up to 6% (1.5% DSI match)
  • Employees are paid for 6 major holidays effective day 1 of employment.
