Team Summary: The Retail Marketing & Strategy team empowers Nintendo's sales teams and retail partners with strategic, business-critical guidance to effectively reach and influence consumers across in-store and online retail channels. Through impactful marketing and promotional planning, the team helps to elevate product awareness, strengthen brand affinity, and drive sales performance.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Leads retail digital content strategy, including digital content cards, in-aisle merchandising, retailer.com content, and omnichannel launch support.
  • Partners with internal teams (Engineering, Marketing, Finance, 3rd party) and retail to ensure digital content programs are accurately represented across physical and digital retail touchpoints.
  • Manages digital content readiness for retail launches, including presell coordination, product detail accuracy, merchandising requirements, and issue resolution.
  • Creates and manages new tools and enhancements, and provides technical training and support to Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA), Nintendo of Latin America (NLA), and Nintendo of Canada (NOCL) sales and marketing teams.
  • Manages the quarterly sales planning processes, meetings and strategies.
  • Creates comprehensive programs and launch content for internal teams and retail partners.
  • Implements strategies to enhance the customer journey in an omni-channel environment.
  • Develops guidelines to ensure program alignment with overall strategy and volume objectives.
  • Manages and tracks policy adherence and establishes policies that ensure brand equity is adhered to.
  • Manages collaborative projects with internal teams related to closeouts, off-sets, evergreens, and discontinued items.
  • Tracks and optimizes budget spend and ensures consistent approach to forecasting, budgeting, and administration of funds availability.
  • Manages provider relationships, contracts, and trainings for NOA.
  • Oversees the performance and optimization of Nintendo's offerings including effective merchandising, promotional strategies, and customer engagement.
  • Manages and analyzes program effectiveness and optimizes budgetary spending with recommendations to maximize profitability/volume.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of seven years relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience presenting analysis recommendations to retailers and leadership.
  • Experience working in or leading a multi-functional department.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle, Tableau, and Smartsheet a plus.
  • Expert in spreadsheet and database applications (Excel, Word, Business Objects), proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Pay Range:
$120,900-$217,650 USD
