We're looking for a skilled Industrial Press Mechanic to play a vital role in our continued success. In this essential third-shift position, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of our production equipment from installation and maintenance to upgrades and repairs. If you're a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at peak performance, you'll fit right in.
This is a full-time third shift role from Sunday through Thursday: 3PM - 11PM with opportunities for overtime.
The payrate is $37.85 (with shift premium included).
WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:

  • Manufacture production parts and upgrade equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain parts inventory.
  • Perform preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Cut and weld materials to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production machinery.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer manuals to ensure correct installation and operation.
  • Adhere to all plant and OSHA safety procedures and rules.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work assigned shift schedule.
  • Previous experience with machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe installation, chiller plants, and waste systems.
  • Industrial maintenance experience in a high-speed plant production environment.
  • Ability to weld, braze, and cut with: Plasma Cutter, MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxygen/Act Torch.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment (scales, micrometers, and indicators).
  • Troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics with the ability to read/understand schematics.
  • Previous experience with installation of copper, black pipe, PVC, or groove lock piping.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching and occasional sitting
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must not have a fear of heights or small spaces
  • Must be able to pass a physical screening
