Job description

ConEquip Parts is growing—and we're looking for a detail-oriented eCommerce Data Entry Specialist to join our Depew, NY team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with data, and understands that great customer experiences start with great product information.


You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our online product catalog, ensuring customers can quickly find and confidently purchase the right parts. From product data and images to content quality and feed management, your work will directly impact website performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.


This is more than a basic data entry position. We're looking for someone who can think critically, identify inconsistencies, solve problems, and help continuously improve the quality of our eCommerce platform.

Core Responsibilities

  • Enter, review, and maintain product data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and approve product information prior to website publication.
  • Validate product attributes, part numbers, categories, and specifications.
  • Monitor product feeds and data synchronization processes for accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate listings, missing information, and other data quality issues.
  • Maintain compliance with Google Merchant Center and other product feed requirements.
  • Upload, review, and maintain product images according to company standards.
  • Ensure product titles, descriptions, and content are consistent, accurate, and optimized for customer experience.
  • Audit product listings and make corrections to improve catalog quality and performance.
  • Support merchandising initiatives, promotions, and product bundling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT, and vendor partners to ensure consistent product information across platforms.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of data entry, product data management, or related administrative experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of information while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with product taxonomy, product feeds, and Google Merchant Center is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
