• Contribute to UM System-wide initiatives by providing accessibility expertise, education, and assistance to meet regulatory requirements while supporting a sustainable program.
• Support outreach and engagement efforts for the Digital Accessibility Liaison Program and Digital Accessibility Community of Practice by serving as a resource to campus representatives, sharing accessibility guidance and materials, and helping to connect stakeholders across all four UM System campuses with program resources and support.
Secondary Duties (upon request, as capacity allows):
• Coordinate and guide digital accessibility testing activities, including conducting intake assessments, prioritizing scope, assigning tasks, quality-checking results, and maintaining testing methods, standards, and tools.
• Plan and perform manual and automated accessibility testing and audits of web applications and digital content using assistive technologies, testing tools, and cross-platform and responsive design evaluation methods; document findings and provide actionable recommendations.
• Provide guidance and training to accessibility testing and audit requestors, including intake support, scoping assistance, expectation-setting, and help interpreting results through individual sessions and written documentation.
Shift
