Title:3rd Shift QA Technician, 3rd ShiftReq ID: 10062City, State:Mocksville, NC, North Carolina (US-NC)Reports to:FSQA SupervisorDepartment:Mocksville - 3rd Shift Quality AssuranceClassification:NonexemptPOSITION: 3rd Shift Quality Assurance TechnicianHOURS: 10:00 pm 6:30 am (Sun- Thur, Schedule May Vary)COMPENSATION: $23.02 HourlyREPORTS TO: Lead Person/Sanitation Manager/FSQA ManagerJOB SUMMARY:Ensures product meets the high standard of quality through various checks, tests, record-keeping practices, and communication to various departments.JOB DUTIES:Perform a variety of tests and checks on products, such as receiving inspection, marination checks, batter tests, temperature checks, scale checks and Thermometer checks.Inspect product at different stages of production run to ensure it meets quality standards.Inspect facility areas and pest control boxes at regular intervals.Maintain excellent records of all checks and tests completed ensuring accurate data entry and information is available for audit or customer complaint research.Inspect equipment for cleanliness prior to start up in compliance with USDA and plant regulations and requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS:Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to cold, some heavy lifting, dust, noise, slippery floors. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.QUALIFICATIONS:Must meet Quality Assurance Tech Back & Task requirements. Must be able to stand, walk, sit and lift a minimum of 8 hours per day. Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds. Complete and maintain required safety trainings and certifications (Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Hazard Communication, etc.). High School diploma or equivalent. Computer literacy, with SAP and Windows Office suite experience a plus. Bilingual English & Spanish a plus. Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
