If you are looking to take that next step in your career in the logistics and supply chain field, we have the position for you! We are looking for experienced Facility Manager candidates for our Racine, WI operation.
Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. (ULH), is a leading transportation and third-party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. Universal's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Ensure logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high service levels.
  • Manage and lead warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and enforcing company policies.
  • Implement and enforce OSHA standards and company safety programs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for leadership on productivity, inventory accuracy, and facility performance.
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, including cost control for utilities, labor, and equipment.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in workflow efficiency, quality control, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or facility management.
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), inventory systems, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards including OSHA.
