Job description: 
  • Ability to execute 3GPP based 4G/5G Modem System Verification Test Plans in lab environment.
  • Ability to configure and prepare test equipment (Keysight, Rhode and Schwarz, Anritsu, etc) for lab testing of Mediatek modems.
  • Ability to create automation scripts for test execution.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the UE logs collected report bugs or issues related to modem protocol, call processing and performance.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve bugs and improve modem performance.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers as required.
 Job requirements: 
  • About 2 to 5 years experience in 3GPP 4G/5G based Modem System Verification.
  • Subject matter expertise in 3GPP 4G/5G specifications related to modem call processing and call flows.
  • Self-starter with capability to work under minimal supervision to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capability to articulate protocol and performance related bugs and issues to internal and external teams.
  • Knowledge of Python to understand automation scripts, detect bugs and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge of data mining and data management would be desirable.
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.
