FQHC is currently seeking a Full-time Pediatrician that is passionate about making an impact in underserved rural communities. The physician is responsible for delivering preventive, diagnostic, treatment, patient education and referral care. This position is accountable for the delivery and quality of all services provided by the provider and any supervised mid-level providers (if applicable). Physician would support fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health services for high need population.

Employer's main clinic is in the population-center of southeast Kansas, home of Pittsburg State University, 2011 Division II National Football Champions. This site is full-service with more than 65 staff members providing medical (including ob/gyn), dental and mental health care. It also has an on-site 340b pharmacy, plus a wide array of enabling services including patient navigation, legal and care management. It converted to EMR in 2009.
