Senior Associate Attorney

Practice Area: Complex Business & Commercial Litigation

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33301

Schedule: Hybrid, Full-time with competitive hourly billing requirements. Flexible and collaborative work environment.


Client:

A leading full-service law firm with a robust national and international presence, this firm specializes in high-stakes commercial litigation. The Fort Lauderdale office seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. This team represents a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and entrepreneurs, across a broad spectrum of industries.


Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases involving financial fraud, securities, breaches of contract and fiduciary duties, partnership and shareholder disputes, construction litigation, and more. Manage all facets of litigation, including:

  • Preparing and arguing motions.
  • Taking and defending depositions.
  • Managing complex discovery processes.
  • Handling court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparations.
  • Work collaboratively with a seasoned team in federal and state litigation matters, appeals, and regulatory proceedings, delivering top-tier representation for clients across various industries.


Qualifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Expertise in federal and state litigation, including financial fraud, securities, and breach of fiduciary duty cases.
  • Proficiency in handling motions, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with UCC litigation and construction disputes.
