Location: Phoenix
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours worked per week
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
Start Time: 1:20 AM
Expected Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Assignment Length: Expected to last 3 weeks, with potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A Delivery Driver for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is expected to last approximately three weeks and offers consistent full-time hours with the possibility of an extension.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a strong commitment to safety, and experience operating commercial vehicles while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries according to route schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Complete required delivery paperwork and electronic logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
  • Secure cargo and verify load accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle freight as required.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work early morning hours and maintain a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
