CDR ProSource is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team in a fast-paced industrial environment in Dowagiac, MI. This position is ideal for a skilled technician with experience in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Dowagiac, MI
Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10–12 hour shifts (Saturdays mandatory, 12:00 PM – 5:00/6:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $23 – $25 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
• Perform shift start-up and shutdown procedures
• Open and close the facility as required
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, robotics, vacuum forming ovens, and production equipment
• Respond to and complete emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and AGV systems
• Manage machine recipes and production settings
• Perform programming and maintenance using Ignition software
• Process and manage internal work orders
• Support continuous production and equipment reliability
Required Skills & Abilities
• Willingness to work extended hours (10–12 hour shifts) and mandatory Saturdays
• Strong math, reading, and writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to explain and understand complex technical systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required
Education & Experience
• 3+ years of experience with PLC programming, Fanuc paint robots, or Ignition systems (preferred; less experience considered with strong mechanical skills)
• 1+ year of experience using Lean Manufacturing tools
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems (pneumatics preferred but not required)
• Forklift experience required or willingness to obtain certification
• Valid driver’s license required
