Job description

Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift.
Location: Manufacturing Environment.
Shift: 2nd Shift | Late Afternoon-Evening.
Schedule: On-site | Occasional overtime as needed.
We are hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to oversee manufacturing operations, lead production teams, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support production employees across assigned departments.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.
  • Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
  • Troubleshoot production issues with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and ERP/MRP updates.
  • Enforce PPE, safety policies, 5S, and audit-ready work areas.
  • Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide clear shift handoff communication to 1st shift supervisors.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read work instructions, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • ERP/MRP system and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead independently during 2nd shift operations.
Preferred:
  • Experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • ISO 9001 or QMS knowledge.
