Operates and maintains steam boilers, auxiliaries, and chiller plant equipment. Represents the Facilities department on nights, weekends, and holidays as first contact regarding facilities.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • 2 plus years of experience in a high pressure boiler room preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds, climb a ladder

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Massachusetts First Class Fireman License or higher

Educational Requirements:

  • None required

License/Certification:

  • Massachusetts Second Class Fireman License is required
