Essential Functions:
- Assists unit leadership in planning simulation training that will meet collective training objectives.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes simulation training at echelons ranging from Squad to Corps on various programs such as LOTS, DXTRS, ExCIS, JLCCTC, JDLM, IEWTPT, VBS3.
- Perform classroom setup, networking of systems, and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable mission command information systems.
- Executes training on the system IAW Army standard Programs of Instruction (POI) following approved course instructional times.
- Provides individual MCS training to standard and on time, with 90% of the students successfully completing the course of instruction and receiving system certification.
- Following doctrine outlined in the TC 6-0 series "Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function".
- Teach and coach during exercise/event execution, BSWS functionality and operations to training unit personnel who will be operating simulation workstations during training exercises and class training events.
- On occasions, operate BSWS for the unit during execution of a training event.
Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance (Required).
- Bachelors degree
- Recently retired or separated Army senior Non Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer / Officer with Battalion or higher staff experience using Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
- MCIS experience: 6 years
- Army Veteran: 10 years
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License and maintain Post driving privileges.
- Advance knowledge of their principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of Army simulation training programs.
- Knowledge of one or more Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
- Ability to learn a second Army MCIS and serve as an Assistant Instructor when needed.
- Battle Staff training with battalion or higher echelon staff experience with knowledge of relevant technology and subject matter.
- Demonstrated effective teaching, instruction, presentation, and communication skills.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel.
- Army Warfighting Simulation (WARSIM) andย Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) experience preferred.
Working Conditions: On-Site at the Fort Bragg Mission Training Complex (MTC)
