Job description

The Business Development role is responsible for driving revenue and business development for 2G Energy Rental's temporary power solutions. This role focuses on identifying and engaging customers who can benefit from natural gas and propane power generation, including utilities, microgrid developers, industrial facilities, commercial clients, EPCs and data center developers. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of the rental power generation market, distributed generation, and behind the meter power generation applications.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within temporary and/or rental power generation. Strong knowledge of rental power, behind the meter power generation, and other temporary power markets. Experience working with C&I customers, utilities, microgrid developers, EPCs and Data Center developers. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, close deals, and meet revenue targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software. Demonstrate strong organizational skills. Work independently as well as in a team environment. Demonstrate proactiveness with good problem-solving skills, judgement and innovation while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
