SUMMARY: The AI Technical Artist is responsible for creating, evaluating, refining, and implementing visual assets, workflows, and technical art solutions for land-based gaming products.
This role sits at the intersection of visual design, AI-assisted asset creation, technical execution, production workflows, and practical implementation. The ideal candidate can generate many visual directions quickly, identify which assets and approaches are worth pursuing, and turn strong visual ideas into usable, production-ready game assets.
This role requires someone who actively uses AI and emerging tools to accelerate visual exploration, pressure-test asset quality, improve production workflows, and move from rough visual direction to implemented game-ready assets with speed and clarity.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
-Generate, refine, and curate visual assets using AI and traditional digital art tools
-Build efficient workflows that combine asset creation, evaluation, iteration, and implementation
-Support the integration of art into game systems from concept through production
-Optimize assets for performance, visual quality, and platform constraints
-Identify workflow pain points and propose or build practical improvements
-Collaborate closely with design and engineering to align visuals with gameplay needs
-Maintain a high bar for visual consistency, usability, and production readiness
REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience with digital art tools, asset pipelines, and production workflows
-Demonstrated use of AI tools for asset generation, refinement, and iteration
-Understanding of game asset workflows across the full development cycle
-Technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and comfort working between art and engineering
-Strong visual judgment and attention to detail
-Ability to evaluate, select, and refine outputs quickly
-Experience integrating assets into game engines or interactive systems
-Experience in casino gaming or slot machine development is a plus
Preferred Requirements:
-Experience with casino gaming, slot machine development, land-based gaming, or regulated gaming products.
-Basic scripting, shader, or automation experience.
-Experience creating custom tools to assist and supercharge your workflow.
-Experience working with engineers, artists, QA, or production teams through a full development cycle.
