Reily Foods Company has a passion for flavor and has been providing iconic foods and beverages that create meals and memories for over 120 years! Our products consist of New England Coffee, French Market Coffee, Luzianne Iced Tea, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Swans Down Cake Flour, Tiger Sauce, and Carroll Shelby Chili (to name a few) and can be found in foodservice and retail locations around the country.

Job Summary: The Delivery Driver works with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers. The driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions if it does not create an undue hardship for the department/company.

  • Prepares truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of customer orders
  • Delivers orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs
  • Assists customers with new orders and respectfully handles issues in a timely manner
  • Collects payment for products delivered, makes necessary changes, and records transactions on proper paperwork obtaining customer’s signature
  • Delivers payments to manager at the end of shift
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water daily
  • Alerts management of necessary or required maintenance/repairs needed on the delivery vehicle in a prompt manner
  • Completes daily post-trip vehicle inspection report according to company policy and DOT guidelines
  • Attends company meetings and training programs
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred or ability to be trained, preferably delivering products to a retail or customer facing environment
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past two years
  • Forklift certification helpful
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed to complete deliveries
  • Customer service attitude with good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds daily
  • Basic math skills
