Visiting Angels:
Visiting Angels provides home care assistance to support older adults to which they can remain independent in their own homes with respect, dignity, and compassionate care that they deserve. We serve the Lincoln and surrounding areas.

Caregiver:
We're looking for a compassionate and empathetic Caregiver to join our team! This role is part-time working primarily morning hours. Looking for more than morning hours shifts? We also have multiple shift options for flexible scheduling. Being a caregiver at Visiting Angels doesn't require experience - we will train you! If you have CNA, in-home helper, or companion experience - that's a plus! As a Caregiver, you can expect to:
  • Provide clients emotional and physical support
  • Ensure clients are engaged through conversation, games, and other activities
  • Assist with activities of daily living including:
    • Companionship and moral support
    • Coping with the routines of everyday life
    • Planning and preparing meals
    • Light housekeeping and laundry
    • Personal hygiene and grooming
    • Dressing and bathing assistance
    • Reminding to take medication
    • Assisting with exercise
    • Running errands
  • Report client changes and act quickly in emergency situations
  • Be reimbursed mileage for client transportation

Compensation:
  • $15.00 - $17.50 per hour. Compensation based on experience and/or CNA certification.

Schedule:
  • This role is Part-time with shift options being:
    • Weekday and/or Weekend
    • Morning
    • Afternoon
    • Evening
    • Overnight

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to provide personal cares such as toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient
  • No experience required - we will train you!
