Job description

Urgent locum opportunity for a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist to provide 24-hour ENT call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Kearney, Nebraska. This role is ideal for physicians seeking weekend coverage blocks with strong call pay and full specialty support.

️ Available Coverage Dates (2026)

• July 03 @ 12:00 PM – July 06 @ 7:00 AM
• September 04 @ 7:00 AM – September 08 @ 7:00 AM
• December 24 @ 7:00 AM – December 28 @ 7:00 AM

Average patient volume: 2–4 consults per day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide ENT call coverage for ED and trauma consults
• Respond onsite when requested by trauma or ED physicians
• Manage acute ENT cases and procedures
• Collaborate with anesthesia, CRNAs, and surgical teams
• Document care using Epic EMR

Required Procedures

• Tonsillectomy
• Adenoidectomy
• Audiograms
• Lump / tumor removal

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified ENT – Required
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Active Nebraska license or ability to obtain (Compact acceptable)
• Active DEA license
• Clean malpractice history
• Availability at time of name clear
• NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days at submission)

Credentialing & Travel
