We are seeking a 1st Shift Laborer at our Zelienople, PA facility. The Laborer position plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for cleaning interior and exterior grounds, performing nondestructive testing, transporting materials, and helping production areas as required. We need an exceptionally well-organized teammate who can effectively multi-task and prioritize while taking the initiative to support the team effectively.
This entry-level position provides candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to advance to other areas and positions. The schedule for this position is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.
What you'll do
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials to and from production operations or storage areas.
  • Use grinders, chipping hammers, wire brushes, etc., to clean welds, remove burrs and flux, etc. Prepare materials for painting.
  • Weigh, identify, and segregate scraps and maintain required records.
  • Use a cutting torch to cut scrap pieces to size, as necessary.
  • Assist in all production operations when requested or assigned.
  • Operate a beveling machine and punch when directed.
  • Wear protective clothing and respirators (Air filters) when necessary and required by Group Leader/Supervisor.
  • Must be able to hear safety alarms, climb ladders, lift to 50lbs, and wear safety boots.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must possess strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use chippers, wire brushes, power tools, tape measures, and hand tools.
  • Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes preferred but will train.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Well-organized and able to adapt and effectively multi-task, prioritize.
  • Must take initiative and be able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the team.
