Job description

Position Overview
Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. seeks a skilled Supply Clerk/Technician to provide logistics support and hardware tracking for range systems, weapon systems, testing laboratories, industrial shops, and production acceptance under PWS 2.6.1. The role demands meticulous attention to Navy protocols, classified material handling, and coordination across NUWCDIVKPT facilities. Key Responsibilities
• Input and closeout Torpedo Management Information System (TMIS) Reports to Navy-wide databases (HTTDS/APCS) as required.
• Execute logistics operations including planning, coordinating, and evaluating support for range systems, weapon systems, and designated programs.
• Support project acquisition per NAVSEA Instruction 4200.19A and FAR 9, Subpart 9.5: Analyze acquisition strategies, conduct market research, and draft SOWs, specifications, data requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate, develop, and adjust plans/schedules to meet logistics timelines.
• Establish and maintain tracking/documentation systems for logistics operations (est. 12 maintenance actions/month).
• Manage data documents: collect, input, distribute, reproduce, issue, retrieve, store, archive, purge, and control within logistics/hardware systems.
• Prepare shipping documents/media for on/off-station shipments via government/commercial carriers.
• Maintain logs/records for classified hardware actions (est. 50 records/week).
• Escort/hand-carry classified information between NUWCDIVKPT, Bangor Naval Station, and Test Ranges; complete required courier training. Qualifications
• Active Secret clearance.
• High School Diploma (desired); logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Navy databases (TMIS, HTTDS/APCS), NAVSEA instructions, and FAR regulations.
• Strong organizational skills for classified material handling and courier duties.
