About the Job

We are looking for two (2) Registered Dental Hygienists to join a great practice that is growing in both Crozet & Charlottesville, VA. Our practice offers a wonderful office culture, work flexibility and attractive pay & benefits. Our hygienists enjoy working at the practice and have great relationships with patients and handle one column of hygiene. We have three other RDHs who have been there on average of 5 years.

Our mission is to deliver the highest quality of education and only utilize the newest technology for patients. We consider every member of the team to be family. We promote work/life balance, a positive work atmosphere, and opportunities for career growth.

Your perks & benefits:

Your average day:

  • Review oral health history and conduct initial mouth screening
  • Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
  • Taking X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth
  • Removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease
  • Supporting the dentist on all aspects of dental care
  • Collecting medical and dental histories from patients
  • Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants & fluoride

You have:

  • An in-depth knowledge of medicine, dentistry, dental health, and safety regulations
  • Experience as a dental hygienist
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of infection control guidelines set forth by CCHC/OHSA/ADA
  • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations

Job type: Full-time

Hours: 32-36 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday OR Monday to Thursday

License/Certification:

  • Virginia Hygiene License
  • Practice will help with licensing if moving from out of state
