Summer Camp 2026 Teaching Aide (Temporary Part-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Camp Teaching Aide assists with the delivery of educational, science-based, and interactive curriculum to children ages 5-15. Session content areas may include but are not limited to astronomy, aeronautics, engineering, physics, marine science, paleontology, chemistry, human health, and biology. The Camp Teaching Aide will report directly to the Camp Coordinator or Manager. Each Camp Teaching Aide will be assigned to work with a particular Camp Instructor each week. SALARY: $15 per hour, Temporary PT
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Camp Instructors in the delivery of interactive, science-based camp classes. Classes may include but are not limited to astronomy, aeronautics, engineering, physics, marine science, paleontology, chemistry, human health, and biology. Classes may be indoors and/or outdoors.
Assist in maintaining the classroom and other museum spaces used during camp, ensuring a safe and clean environment at all times. This includes set up for activities/experiments before morning and afternoon activities, keeping tables and chairs organized, and clean-up of supplies and materials at the end of each activity and the end of the day.
Dresses appropriately in the Frost Science uniform, including a provided Frost Science polo, solid-colored pants or long shorts (no jeans), and comfortable, slip-resistant closed-toe shoes.
